Transition Notice: MYCG is currently restructuring operations. Select programs are temporarily paused as we prepare for the next chapter of service.
Hope Is Where Change Begins.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Gunnison and the Mississippi Delta through youth education, sustainable growing, and community support programs that increase access to healthy food.
Educational Programs
MYCG’s My-Crop education initiatives teach youth and families practical skills: growing food, preparing balanced meals, and preserving produce safely. We build knowledge that lasts—so healthy choices become normal choices.
Nutrition Education
We teach families how to grow seasonal produce and herbs such as peaches, plums, tomatoes, greens, basil, peppermint, onions, grapes, lemon balm, and rosemary. Through hands-on instruction and community collaboration, we promote sustainable gardening practices and healthy food access in the Mississippi Delta.
Senior Assistance Programs
MYCG honors veterans through community support services, food assistance, and outreach that helps veterans stay connected and cared for. We believe service should be met with service—locally, consistently, and with respect.
Veteran Assistance
MYCG honors veterans through community support services, food assistance, and outreach that helps veterans stay connected and cared for. We believe service should be met with service—locally, consistently, and with respect.
